Background
Canon's Wiki | Wataru's Profile

Personality
Wataru may come off as a plain, overly polite, somewhat boring everydude who seems a bit overinvested with music and playing violin in particular. However, there is actually more to him than meets the eye, especially when a dangerous situation breaks out. The son of a fangire and a human who was caught in a war between the two races, he has behind himself a history of battles against many enemies and his own demons, shaping him into a man whose emotional fortitude can't be ignored. His character development is the pinnacle of his canon, from start to end.

The first thing you could pick up about Wataru is that he's kind, verging on selfless. Sometimes he takes it too far, getting himself into trouble because, for example, he feels the need to step into other's fights to pacify them or save a victim from their attackers regardless of how strong the latter are. If it weren't for his powers, he would possibly take more than he could chew. He will help anyone in need, regardless of their race or social status. Everyone is people to him, and although he's way too trusting and not at all perfect at judging others thus finding those with ill intentions, he would not regret an action that served to make someone happy. Such a trait he learned from his deceased father, Otoya, whose kindness he discovered when he travelled through time in the past and met him face to face. Otoya remains the most important figure in Wataru's life which eventually teaches him compassion and empathy as he starts listening to the "music" that plays in people's hearts.

He is also crystal clear honest, telling people exactly what he thinks. Lying is never an option to him because he's terrible at it, which could cost him something in case he gets into circumstances that require him to take on a disguise or divert someone's attention away from the truth. His sincerity, however, makes him easy to trust and open up to. Having been sheltered most of his life, therefore also never going to school, he may also come off as slightly innocent about certain subjects, but he's also a quick learner whose only need is an enviroment or people he's comfortable enough having around to experience new things with.

Considering the misadventures he'd been shoved through since childhood, and despite the heavy amounts of psychological trauma they caused him, it's safe to say that he's a survivor. Having been abandoned by his mother while he was still a child, it's a wonder that he managed to fend for himself enough to breach through adulthood with little outside help except for his sentient belt Kivat and his only friend Shizuka. After his development, he is fully capable to take care of himself, pushing through events and constantly standing up whenever he falls back into depression after a particular instance that affects him deeply, like the reveal of his real heritage or the tragic death of his lover. He's far from perfectly solid on a spiritual level, and he will still make bad decisions based on his emotions, but what can't be denied is that he will eventually stand up and keep fighting, no matter what stands in his way.

Lastly, as already hinted, Wataru is brave. Prior to the series, he was an anxious shut-in with a crippling fear of the outside world, going as far as to say that he was "allergic" to it. A random stranger, Megumi, forcing him out of his shell, made him realize that not everything he believed about his surroundings was true and as a result he began gaining confidence little by little, reaching great achievements in the long run, like getting over his stage fright and performing in front of an audience. The only motivation he had to fight in the beginning was the "call" of Bloody Rose, Otoya's violin, which existence was source of obsession for Wataru. As his development advanced, he realized that his purposes have changed and he will fight because he himself wants to, no longer being encouraged by a memento. By the last episodes, he's become someone who instils fear in regular mooks with just a glare, and strives for the highest position as King of Fangires, a huge responsibility he's ready to take for the sake of setting peace between two races and keeping his loved ones safe.

Powers
On the regular, Wataru possesses Fangire blood in him that gifts superhuman strength and toughness. At the start of the show, he was just a weakling who went down in a hit and couldn't tap into his potential because of his trauma and fears, but thanks to character development he can now take on monster mooks without even the need to transform.

For tougher opponents, however, he will still require to wear his Kamen Rider Kiva armor. He has access to it through a bite from his belt Kivat, which consequently lends him even larger power and defense. However, this is not his complete form; the chains wrapped around his armor symbolize Kiva's inability to reach his full potential. Moreover, in order to use his final move, he needs a Fuestle that Kivat the belt will have to blow into so he can release the power contained in his right leg and deliver his Rider Kick.

Here's the list of all his other forms! Kiva can enter different forms depending on the Arm Monster he summons from his castle to seek their help. His final form, Emperor Kiva, which breaks all the chains holding him back, is the most powerful in the show. Because that may be too much for the game, it'll be fine to just give Wataru his basic Kiva form.

「 Game Info 」
Job Placement
- Wataru is mostly hyperspecialized in violin playing and crafting, making him something close to a musician.
- He's also a quite good singer who used to be in a band so he has some experience in that area.
- Considering he's a Kamen Rider, he's got plenty experience fighting threats and will be glad to help out with vigilante work, although his preferences lie in the above mentioned music related talents.

Sex Work
No. It's not within his inclination to work there just yet.

Faction Placement
1. West Faction. He's tightly bound to music, talented with violin playing and singing.
2. Yoshiwara Police Department. As Kiva, he can help maintain order and function as a vigilante.
3. Miscellaneous. I cannot see him affliated with any other factions so this the last ditch option.

Does your character have any connection to a 'real life' supernatural entity or mythological figure?
Fangire are entities that are most frequently shown onscreen, and they're the series' equivalent to vampires. Most of them represent the main antagonists, attacking innocent people and declaring their entitlement to feed off humans' life force. They appear as human beings with regular lives who conceal their actual form, which is that of monsters with the common trait of stained glass patterns all over their bodies who shatter into pieces upon death.

Later on, it is revealed that Wataru is a dhampyr-like hybrid born from a human father and a fangire mother. It is thanks to his fangire blood that he can transform into Kiva and gain access to its power, and likewise his human side prevents him from succumbing to hunger.

Other than fangires, the canon also lists twelve other races, with only a handful appearing properly. Wataru can count on the help of Kivat, of course, and three other creatures (Arms Monsters) who previously shared a bond with his father. The one most influential to the plot is Jiro, a Wolfen (werewolf), then there's Ramon, a Mermen (merman), and Riki, a mute Franken (based off the Frankenstein monster). Borrowing their powers, Kiva obtains other forms and weapons that aid him most in the first half of the series.

Is your character willing and able to engage in sexual acts, with or without the use of aphro?
Yes.
